| 160 |
The purpose, evaluation, and interpretation of the insight is to assist in identifying and confirming as many unsafe structures as possible, for the safety precautions of City residents.
Above Target: Is evaluating a higher count of unsafe structures identified through building structural investigations than projected during the fiscal year.
Below Target: Is evaluating a lower count of unsafe structures identified through building structural investigations than projected during the fiscal year.
This measure identifies all new unsafe structure violations. The new violations encompass various minor and major issues (i.e. Building Recertifications, Work Without Permit, Structural Issues). Capturing the number of new violations provides insight into overall non-compliance levels and assists in addressing those that are major issues/threats to life safety. It serves as a critical indicator of the effectiveness of enforcement processes and the responsiveness of building owners to regulatory obligations. This data is key for identifying trends, and ensuring building safety across both minor and major issues.
