This measure tracks the count of traffic homicide victims.
This metric is used to evaluate the department’s efforts to improve roadway safety and prevent loss of life among drivers, passengers, and pedestrians. It supports strategic goals related to public safety and livable communities by identifying trends, informing traffic enforcement strategies, and guiding education or outreach campaigns. The results help prioritize high-risk areas and measure the effectiveness of initiatives aimed at reducing serious collisions
